FLORA VILLALOBOS is a Writer, Director, Producer, Cinematographer, and Photographer based in Los Angeles. Originally from New York City, she earned her degree in Media Arts and Culture with an emphasis in Film Production from Occidental College. Currently a freelance filmmaker and writer's assistant, Flora has worked with writers such as Tom Lynch, Aleem Hossain, and Adam Brooks, and has over 5 years of experience on set. In the past, she's partnered closely with the independent documentary production company Four Corners Media as a Co-Producer, 1st AC, and Lead Editor of multiple films published in news outlets such as The Guardian and NBC Lx.  She's written and directed several short films such as "The Blanket," "Dear Best Friend" and "End Times," the latter awarding her graduating honors from Occidental College. In her work, Flora likes to explore themes such as queerness and mental health through darkly comedic and surrealist lenses. She is currently writing her first feature film.
